Invest in solar energy through participations in photovoltaic plants

Invest in renewable energies through a cooperative

Som Energia is a cooperative producer and marketer of green energy. That is to say that you can contract the light with them  as if you did with any other electric company in Spain. But they are committed to supporting the change of the current energy model towards a system with 100% renewable energy.

And they also give the possibility of investing in renewables through an initiative called  Generation kWh . The members of the cooperative can buy shares (€ 100 per share) based on their annual electricity consumption. With this money, renewable energy projects are financed. Each investor has a proportional share of the electricity generated by the plant and that reduces its electricity bill. It also recovers all the money invested over 25 years.
